Here’s what you can expect when you make an appointment with Ben Stone Massage Therapy.
First of all if you’re making an appointment online you should receive a confirmation email. If you don’t receive a confirmation email, please check your spam or junk mail folders because if you don’t see an email confirmation, chances are likely that you don’t have a confirmed appointment. If at any time you wish to verify an appointment, simply contact Ben. Inside the confirmation email contains a link for a health history form, filling out this form is helpful as it allows me to prepare specifically for your first appointment.
Reminder: there is a 12-hour cancellation policy, Ben requires a minimum of 12-hour notice for a cancellation or reschedule, more info about this can be found on the policies and procedures page of the website.

You can expect your appointment to start and end on time. Please plan on arriving no more than 10 minutes before your appointment, any more than this and chances are I won’t be ready for you.
We will start the appointment with a short chat to see how a massage can help you. This will involve a short history of what’s been going on with you and your body, a few movement assessments and/or special Orthopedic tests to help identify areas that may need attention during the treatment. We will also use this time to address any concerns you have about how massage can help you.
After the treatment we may review some movement strategies to help you over the following weeks as well as talk about a treatment plan for how massage can most benefit you.
These are just some of the basics of what you can expect when you come to see Ben at Ben Stone massage therapy. If you have any specific questions please feel free to reach out at any time. Thank you for considering Ben Stone Massage Therapy and I hope to see you soon.
