To the valued massage community,
I want to sincerely thank you for your continued trust and support. Providing high-quality, evidence based massage therapy remains my top priority.
After careful consideration, session rates will be adjusted to reflect rising operating costs, ongoing education, and the value of experienced specialized care. Beginning May 1, 2025, the new rates for massage sessions will be:
- 30 minutes: $60
- 45 minutes: $90
- 60 minutes: $120
- 75 minutes: $150
- 90 minutes: $180
**Kinesio Taping and Massage Cupping will remain included at no additional cost when needed or requested. **
Save $4 on Every Session with Select Payment Methods
To offer savings, a $4 discount is available for payments made via cash, check, or Venmo. These options help avoid credit card processing fees, and the savings are passed on to clients.
I am happy to report that this has only been the second price adjustment in the last nine years, despite inflation and increasing business expenses.
Why the Change?
With over 20 years of experience in massage therapy, I am the only Master Myoskeletal Therapist in Nebraska, also I am one of less than 20 massage therapists Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in Nebraska. I am committed to continual learning, completing about 75-100 continuing education hours annually—far beyond the state’s 16-hour requirement every two years for license renewal. My goal is to ensure you continue to receive exceptional, evidence based care as continued education remains one of my top priorities.
Pricing adjustments are made with careful research, considering market trends, inflation, operational costs and industry standards while maintaining fair and competitive rates.
Gratuity Clarification
I want to simplify things in regard to gratuity, I will no longer expect gratuity. In 2024 Nebraska redefined massage therapy as a healthcare service with LB78; as such, I believe tipping should not be necessary. I recognize that tipping culture has evolved in such a way that it can sometimes feel overwhelming—wondering whether to tip, how much, and so on. My goal is to provide a straightforward, stress-free experience, so you can focus on receiving the care you need without any added concerns.
Nebraska LB78 : “Massage therapy means a HEALTH CARE SERVICE involving the physical, mechanical, or electrical manipulation of soft tissue for therapeutic purposes OR TO ENHANCE WELLNESS… Massage therapy does not include diagnosis or treatment or use of procedures for which a license to practice medicine or surgery, chiropractic, or podiatry is required.”
I want to recognize massage therapy as a healthcare service and help to set precedent in the industry—just as tipping is not customary for chiropractors or physical therapists, it will no longer be part of this practice. The focus remains on providing effective, professional care.
Updated Cancellation Policy
Life can be unpredictable, and sometimes schedules need to change. To be fair to both of us, the cancellation policy is being updated.
If an appointment is canceled with less than 12 hours’ notice, 100% of the scheduled appointment cost will be charged. You may also choose to buy into a Cancellation Policy Insurance option where enrolling for $50 will exempt you from cancellation fees and can be called upon to use when needed and is valid for up to one year. After the policy is used or one year expires you can renew the policy. This allows for prioritizing well-being without additional stress.
Thank you for your continued support. For any questions or to schedule an appointment, feel free to reach out.
Warmest regards,
Ben Stone
